If you've ever filled a request, then you know you can either have them download the images themselves, or give them the links straight from the uploading site you used.
Now, my questions
1. Do you let them use the links or have them download them? 2. Which one is considered the best way? [of the above] 3. What image hosting site do you normally use when filling requests?

I think that if a request has 4 or less images, I will upload the images individually to Image Shack. If I can't get image shack to load fast enough, I'll find some other place. Now if a request has more than 4 images ... like navigation buttons, sub-navigation buttons (as I call them), UBBC, etc. then I will put them into a zip file and upload them to my Ripway account for the person to download them that way. There is only a rare occasion when someone is unable to download a zip file.
When I first started filling requests I only had a Photobucket account so at that time I would tell people that they would have to rehost them ... cause I didn't want to have to keep them in my Photobucket account. After a while I started using Image Shack and then I never told them they had to rehost. But I think it is still a good idea to download a copy to your computer in case the links at Image Shack stop working.

Yes, same as VO. I use Photobucket. I usually give them a option. If the graphic is not to big, I'll post it for them to save. Under it I'll post the link just incase they have problems.

It depends on the request. If it's small enough, I host to tinypic (not on my account) and just give the URL to them. If it's a large order, I'll either have them download a pack (like for menu buttons) from my personal website, or upload to my tinypic, so I can check for hotlinking & credit (if I've seen their request fillers go unthanked) 2. Again, it depends on the request, and on the person, I believe. Someone like, say me - I'm always polite when I request (I know you don't have to do it!), and I always say thank you and give credit in a visible place on my forum (main page). I think just giving someone like me a zip or rar file would be fine. Someone who, say, has made his/her graphics entirely out of requests and has yet to rehost or thank any fillers needs URLs and instructions to rehost. 3. Tinypic, or my server.

See I had this guy download the menu buttons, and apparently he can't figure it out. I'm tired of waiting on him as well, especially after having to make 5 seperate banners for him. Well I didn't have to, but I wanted the practice. One of them I had to make because he was trying to get someone else to change my image.
Anyways, I think maybe it would be best to have them download anything that has multiple images, that way you don't have to worry about taking up space on your image hosting site. However, I've only had people download zip files, I guess that's best way.

It's always best, in my opinion anyway, to NEVER use your own image hosting account to host images that you made for someone on request. For one thing, you end of taking up a lot of space in your own account, which eventually you may need to free up some space and you shouldn't have to delete your own images.

I do host downloads on my own server, but I delete them after two weeks if it's a request.

I guess that makes more sense. I guess its pretty good that I'm using ripway for the downloads.

Ripway is a good one for downloads.
