I could also fill some requests if I have the time.

I'm trying to get a Request board up and running at the moment. Just trying to implement a Request Form code. Neither of the request form codes that I tried worked.

Also, for new boards. In the GFX fun board, maybe an archive? Dunno.

I have one for a join board on an RP forum that works.
<script type="text/javascript"> <!-- /* Posting Request Form/Template v2 by california ©2005 SoCal Codes, http://socal.proboards26.com */ var field = ['']; function addSingleInput(title, desc){field.push(['input', title, desc]);} function addDropdown(title, desc, opts){var other = (arguments[3]) ? arguments[3] : ''; field.push(['select', title, desc, opts.split('|'), other]);} function addTextarea(title, desc, rows){field.push(['textarea', title, desc, rows]);}
/* Customize Below This Line */
var titleMessage = "Joining"; var subjectName = "Subject"; var subjectDescription = "The name of your cat and his/her Clan."; var keepMessageIcon = "no"; var columnWidths = ["24%", "38%", "38%"];
addSingleInput("Name", "Your cat's name."); addSingleInput("Age", "Age in moons. (Must be 6 moons to be an apprentice and 12 moons to be a warrior.)"); addDropdown("Gender", "The gender of your cat.", "Tom|She-cat"); addDropdown("Clan", "What Clan or group are you in?", "GrassClan|BreezeClan|StormClan|MountainClan|Warriors of the Flames|Metal Bearers", "Rogue, Loner or Kittypet..."); addTextarea("Personality", "What is the personality of your cat?", "12"); addTextarea("Description", "What does your cat look like?", "12"); addTextarea("History", "What is your cat's history?", "12"); addTextarea("RP", "Post an RP example here (only on your first bio).", "12"); addSingleInput("Secret Code", "Put the secret code in here. (Psst! You might want to look in the rules!)");
/* Customize Above This Line */
if(document.postForm) document.write('<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.iycatacombs.com/socal/resources/scripts/postingformv2.js"></scr'+'ipt>'); // --> </script>

I tried Xion's code and Cali's code (the one Rubber Ducky posted) and for some reason, when I clicked on the new thread button I was presented with the normal post form.
I can try putting one back in and see if anyone else can see the form. If it's just me that doesn't see it then that isn't a problem because I don't plan to post a request. LOL
Anne, if you have a different code, let me know and I'll send you a PM.

And if it is, I still couldn't get it to work because I purposely went to his forum to get the code rather than use the code in the database on PBS ... in the off chance it had been updated.

i might be able to help you out VO? That would be great. If you could just PM me what you used in Cali's code, I can run through it to see if there are any errors. ^^ I'm afraid I don't have a copy of the edited version any longer. But I also think I tried the code (unedited) on a test board and it didn't work either.

Just out of curiosity, did you place the code correctly? >.< I'm sure you did, but I've accidentally placed it in main footers myself, or in board headers instead of board footers. I could try it out for you (I've been successful each time I've used Cali's code), but yeah. Just a regular member. xD

I am always pretty careful about adding codes. I'll have to give it another try.
