Since I am new to this Graphic making and to Proboards. I was wondering if you can help me get to know Paint Shop Pro better and can you answer some of my questions.
1. How do I cut the Image out from a background? 2. How do I make a text and surround the the text another color. 3. Where do I find Filter Screen/Overlay. 4. How do I resizing a picture before putting it on a background 5. Any other decorated styles is perfect.

I have Paint Shop Pro 7 which is a version prior to Corel buying Paint Shop Pro ... so basically what I'm saying is what my version of the program does may not be exactly how your version of the program does the same things. LOL When I used Paint Shop Pro and wanted to remove a background I used the eraser tool. I believe that newer versions of the program have a pen tool. But I am not positive. When you make your text, it should still be selected. Go to Selections > Modify > Feather and then set the number to how much of a border around the text you want. Then create a new layer and move that layer under your text layer. Now take your paint brush or the bucket tool and fill in your selection in the layer beneath the text layer. You find those in the layer palette. See: To resize: Image > Resize or just hit Shift + S on your keyboard. Not sure you mean by the last statement.

Well you could try the various filters that come with the program as well as brushes. Check here: veredgf.fredfarm.com/vbrush/main.html and click on the 3rd link down (Brush Search Engine) and you may find lots of sites that will help with brushes and other things you can use with PSP.
