umm VO sorry if this is already here, but dyou have any recommendations for when making ubbc buttons and custom icons (ie. profile icons) You know, it really depends on the design you want them to be. In general though, I prefer something like this: I don't like the default buttons so much. So I tend to make them a couple pixels smaller but you can do a lot with them depending what you want them to look like.. Like use gradients or other decorations.

what kind of fonts are best used for them? Well, I don't really know. What I mean to say is I don't have a specific one that I use all the time. I usually type out the letter B, for the first UBBC button and then go through my fonts to see which one looks best. However, sometimes what I think looks good for B doesn't always work well for I so I may change the font for that one. Or I will then go back and change the B to the font that works nicely for the I. For sup and sub, I will either use a pixel font or I will do them by hand. It's actually pretty easy to do small pixel writing by hand.

awesome. so just use pencils/text/marquee tools? Well, sure. I have also used custom shapes from time to time as well. Like for the URL button.

I'd guess it was the pen tool.

How about a brush-creation tutorial? Not a "how to save your brushes" one. =] I'd appreciate it.
