...what a "graphic worm" is. What makes it different than any other type of banner or artwork.

A graphic worm is when someone makes an opening image, then everyone chains off of that artwork. So, say I started, then Vanilla Orchids and ...someone. I would start with an image, VO would take my image and make one to continue it that blends nicely, and the next one would do the same with her's. It's like making little blocks, and they all have to fit together.

Also, a good comparison would be a graphic quilt - where everyone makes a little bit of it. The purpose of a graphic worm is to have a series of images that blend together so perfectly it looks like one big image.
